Here’s my story….

After experiencing the frustration of being unable to run without knee pain and worrying about whether I was going to be able to run again, I decided that I wasn’t done running yet! 

I applied the same assessments and exercises that I had done with my running clients on myself consistently and started moving better and feeling better.  Old aches and pains were diminishing! I realized that my physical struggles weren’t due simply to old age or some random event.  

What had served me in my 20’s and 30’s, was no longer working for me in my 40’s and beyond. I had to reframe my mindset, my movements, my habits and my environment.  In order to run differently, I had to do something different! Meet Dr. Lynne Virant, PT, DPT

I am a Navy veteran who discovered a passion for fitness while on serving overseas. Since leaving military service, I’ve been in the health and fitness industry for 19 years as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and physical therapy practitioner. I live an active life with my husband and daughter, and I’ve participated in many sports such as distance running, triathlons, volleyball, tennis, hiking, rock climbing, golf, yoga, and stand up paddle boarding.
